The 2012 Fix a Leak Week recently ended, and in case you missed it, you can find all of the highlights here. Fix a Leak Week is celebrated in March each year with the goal of reminding Americans to check for and repair leaks in their homes. According to a study conducted by the American Water Works Association (AWWA), leaks make up about 14% of all indoor water use 1. Water Leak Detection:

Some leaks around the home and office are easily noticed: running toilets, dripping faucets, and leaky water dispensers. However, some leaks occur in less visible locations such as under sinks, behind washing machines, or from water heaters tucked away in closets.
