Has backup battery (standard C batteries) source and output contacts for connection to Alarm or Home Automation/Monitoring systems if desired, to automatically alert the property owner if the systems was activated! It is easily installed in fifteen minutes. How FloodStop (FS 3/4-NPT) Works:
Simply connect the FloodStop valve between the Water Heater and manual shutoff valve, and place the water/leak sensor at the base of the washing machine. When the sensor detects water, the FloodStop valve automatically closes and sounds an alarm. The valve stays closed until problem is attended to and system is reset. Use this item for any 1 1/4" NPT application. Not just limited to Water Heaters and Water Softeners. The Water main is a great location for this item.
